FAQs
How do i install it?
There are four screw holes inside the CroxBox. It is as simple as screwing it to your fence - it is one of the simplest wallmounted parcelboxes on the market and will keep your deliveries safe and dry.
You can attach it to timber or even brick (Note: you will need the right brick screws - just check with your local hardware store - we only supply wooden fence appropriate screws).
Having the screws only accessible from inside the pin code locked delivery box adds extra security for your parcels. The CroxBox is a lightweight and slimline parcelbox so four screws is enough.
How do i set the pin code? ?
Set your unique pin code by following the instructions included in your CroxBox. Or if that piece of paper has walked the plank then here are the instructions again! FIRST - you need to know the current code - this is very important!
The lock arrives set as 000. For smooth sailing write down whatever code you set or you will have to buy a new lock. Use the small silver stick that comes in the box or even an Apple Sim Card tool can work too.
Put in the current PIN. Poke (the technical term!) the silver tool into the hole in the side of the lock hard enough so you can turn the number dial - change the numbers to the new code and remove the pin. Check it opens before you spin the number dial and write down the code!
You can change the PIN as often as you like.
Now get into your online shopping (AKA THE FUN BIT!) and your lockable wall mounted parcel box will keep your deliveries safe!
how do i tell the postie or delivery person to use the parcelbox?
At the website checkout ADD YOUR PIN CODE to your online delivery instructions
For EXAMPLE:
“Please place in the parcel box next to the gate - PIN CODE 182. Spin the numbers after closing.”
OR
“Leave safely in the locked parcelbox next to the letterbox using PIN CODE 405.”
OR simply,
“Parcelbox code 876”
You can also add this instruction to your address in Apple Pay or Google Pay or whatever payment gateway you like to use!
